Areas
Places people ask to be taken.
These are real places around the St Austell base. Covering a place means the cab can be booked for a journey there — not that it is the official taxi of that harbour, garden or airport.
Coast
- CharlestownCharlestown is the historic harbour just south of St Austell, with a stone quay, tall-ship heritage and a tight village street.
- MevagisseyMevagissey is a working fishing harbour south of St Austell. The lanes in are narrow and village parking is limited.
- FoweyFowey sits on the estuary east of St Austell. The town is hilly, the ferry runs to Polruan, and parking in the centre is awkward.
- Carlyon BayCarlyon Bay is the beach stretch between St Austell and Par, with the coast path above the sand.
